Meet iSpaces amazing team of talented creators, in their own words!
Jim Morris
Senior Software Engineer
A veteran of the software industry and a pioneer of 3D arcade games at Atari, I've spent much of my career working on the bleeding edge of technology in Silicon Valley. I designed Firetalk, one of the first social voice chat sites on the internet and went on to help many startups build scalable, high availability server systems to handle the ever increasing demand of internet applications and services. I've been working on cloud services long before the term "cloud" was even coined. Now that iSpaces has simplified my digital life and I find extra time in my day, you'll find me at the dog park or on the trails with my many rescued dogs.
Simon Lunt
UI Software Design
Simon Lunt, BDes (Hons) Industrial Design, has worked in the IT sector since 1991 and has designed some of Ireland's most successful software. In 1993 Simon joined CBT Systems (later Smartforce). As chief product designer Simon had overall responsibility for all user elements across the CBT product suite. Simon designed and produced CBT's award winning user-control system that required no training. Smartforce grew to become Ireland's largest software exporter with an ISEQ/Nasdaq market capitalisation of over one billion dollars. In 1996 Simon left CBT to co-found Riverdeep. Riverdeep quickly grew into a premier developer of high-quality educational multimedia. Simon's role as Head of Product Development spanned all aspects of the business; software design, product design, project management, fulfilment etc. and was the creator of the highly-acclaimed Destination Math system at the heart of the Riverdeep product suite. Riverdeep went for a joint public listing on the ISEQ and NASDAQ stock markets in March 2000 and achieved a market capitalisation high of over two billion dollars. Now that iSpaces has simplified my digital life, I have more time for more productive and fulfilling tasks. I believe that technology should always be subordinate to the task at hand. With iSpaces this is genuinely the case and I no longer have the feeling that "the tail is wagging the dog".
Erik Hernandez F.
QA Analyst
As an Architecture Major, I understand how important it is to have strong and firm foundations and the same is true in building a new technology. Since early childhood I have been working with computers and I remember the first time I started typing words on a computer the size of a storage chest! Since then, not a day in my life has passed without spending time on my treasured computer, surfing the web, posting my various blogs, reading the latest tech news and checking out new technologies. As a true "Cloudie" that has been involved with iSpaces since it's birth, managing the QA team allows me to make sure that every iSpaces release is the best it can be for you. Now that iSpaces has simplified my digital life, I have more time for inspired design of my next dream project!
Alex Karzag
Product Manager
I've become a wearer of many hats. After graduating from UC Davis with a BA in International Relations, I had early career experience in sales, sales management and operations for web-based startups in Silicon Valley. Then a supernal move into Product Management for a global telecommunications company moved me to New York City. Ever since, I've been fortunate to work at technology companies with people representing many languages, cultures, countries and departments, serving primarily as a company-wide hub of product information. While consulting independent businesses on the side, I'm excited to keep shape by continuing to work with creative, social, innovative, independent thinkers who have no fear or limits. Now that iSpaces has simplified my digital life, I have more time for kickboxing, writing, soccer, traveling and the constant pursuit to find, or make, the world's best hot sauce.
Mike Weaver
Product Development
There are not too many Professional Hockey Players with a Telecommunications background. From 1996 to 2000, I attended Michigan State University and graduated with a minor in Virtual Reality, Software Development and Web Design. Originally from Toronto, Ontario, I began my travels in 1996 and has since lived wherever hockey has taken me: Atlanta, Los Angeles, Vancouver, St. Louis and now Florida, to name a few. A few years ago, I became an angel investor and have since offered my assistance as a SpaceCreator working in Product Development for iSpaces. In addition to this, I serve as a member of the QA team, which beta tests future iSpace releases. For me, being a part of something that will change the Personal Computer as people know it is very exciting! Now that iSpaces has simplified my digital life, I have more time to enjoy my family.
Mariko Drouin

As founder and principal of FiredUp Communications, I've managed communications initiatives for clients in a wide variety of industries including health and beauty, technology, and non-profit. I also enjoy working as a publicist for both fiction and non-fiction authors. I specialize in assembling strong virtual teams to assist my clients in reaching their objectives and my background in marketing, social media, public relations and design helps ensure their success. Balancing a strategic perspective with a gung-ho drive for results, I bring a fiery creative flare to each campaign. Prior to launching FiredUp, I served as the Director of Communications and Marketing for one of Chicago's largest non-profit educational institutions. A graduate of California State University at Chico with a BA in Public Relations, I am a world traveler and addicted to discovering new cultures and places. Now that iSpaces has simplified my digital life and I find extra time in my day, I enjoy exploring the beautiful mountains surrounding my new home in Denver, Colorado and daydreaming about my next overseas adventure.
Kyle Justice
Digital Marketing & Communications
As the wild only child of the Doherty/Justice family, I round out the iSpaces mix with my passionate lust for life and spontaneous youthful creativity. Having been an actress the majority of my life, I fully understand the saying, "the show must go on!" After moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting and while working a night job, I started two small businesses. The first, making high-end altar candles, and the other an in home catering service, both under the same company name Karmic Kreations. With this knowledge and experience I bring my unique drive and determination to the iSpaces marketing team. Having already been a cloudie for quite some time now, iSpaces gives me more time to enjoy riding horses and playing ball with my "son", (aka dog), Mr. T Rex Havok.
Melanie Wicker
Chief iVangelist
I come to iSpaces following years in the entertainment industry. From 1989 to 1995 I was in the artist management team of Shep Gordon's Alive Enterprises where I worked with many artists including Kenny Loggins, Luther Vandross, The Gypsy Kings, Alice Cooper, Michelle Shocked and the Pointer Sisters. Following my time at Alive, I went on the road touring with Michael Bolton as his personal assistant and later worked for Drinks Americas running promotions for Willie Nelson's Old Whiskey River bourbon. In 2005 I worked with Denzyl Feigelson's AWAL in Ojai California and brought my management and organizational skills to the team of Unseen Pictures in 2006. Currently, my passion for health and wellness has led me to launch KeVita, a new probiotic beverage and I am gratefully acting as Chief iVangelist for iSpaces, creating a team of powerful college students to spread the word and bring iSpaces to the "Generation Web". Now that iSpaces has simplified my digital life I have more time to spend with the ones I love and dedicate more time to the things that make my soul sing.
Gina Borys
Graphic and Web Design
A graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, I arrived in Los Angeles in a beat up Oldsmobile to pursue music. Tired of working in restaurants to support my music endeavors and despite the fact that I had never even turned on a computer, I made a bold decision to pursue a career in graphic design -- which I fell in love with immediately. After working for various companies in the world of print and web-design, I founded my own company, Jamhouse Design, in 2007. I am continually fascinated by fonts, typography, color and clever designs and am patiently waiting for the opportunity to put these elements together and design a wine label, a career goal I've held onto for many years. Now that iSpaces has freed up my time, I plan to focus on my first true love and write a hit song. Just one. Or maybe two...
