I just upgraded my Mac to Lion OS, and now iSpaces won't load. Can I use iSpaces with this new operating system?
Yes you can! The reason iSpaces seems to not work in the new Lion OS is because with this release applets are disabled by default. Because of this default setting, applets will not load automatically. It will just appear that the web page is broken. However, you can easily fix this by going to your Java Preferences and clicking the checkbox labeled "Enable applet plug-in and Web Start applications." This will not change anything on your system, but will allow you to run applets. Once you do this iSpaces will run seamlessly just like before.
I would like to use my email address as my username. Can I do that?
No, your username has to be Alphanumeric, containing only letters and numbers, and must be at least 8 characters.
I use a MAC and whenever I try to go to iSpaces from Safari, iSpaces freezes on the loading page. Why does that happen?
This Beta release of iSpaces is configured to run on MAC under 64 bit mode. If you are experiencing this problem your computer is probably set to run under the 32 bit mode. To switch your computer to the 64 bit is really simple! You go to your Finder and under Applications you right click (control + click) and in the pop up menu there will be a Get Info link. Once you click Get Info a drop down screen will appear, and in the top section there are three boxes to click. The top one will say Run in 64 bit mode and you want to click that box. You can then run iSpaces from Safari on your MAC.
Occasionally something won't persist in one of my Spaces, why is that?
This is iSpaces beta program, so you may find a few bugs. We greatly appreciate your feedback and we are working daily to improve and expand this cutting edge technology.
I registered for an iSpaces account, but I cannot get in. What do I do?
Shortly after you have registered for an iSpaces account you will receive a confirmation email. In the email there will be a link which you must click on to activate your account directly from the email, or copy and paste it into your browser. Make sure your activation email did not go into your spam folder. You cannot login until you have activated your account.
