What applications are available within iSpaces?
Currently iSpaces has the following applications: CloudBrowser™ - a web browser, SpaceNote - a notepad, OfficeSpace™ - office tools, and SpacePhone™ - a secure Internet-based Phone and Instant Messenger - with more to come including the iSpaces App Store!
Does iSpaces have office tools?
Yes, iSpaces proudly introduces OfficeSpace! iSpaces OfficeSpace integrates Zoho's online office suite. Zoho's office suite can handle all document formats including Microsoft's formats, OpenXML and the new Open Document Format.
I have a Mac, can I use iSpaces?
With this Beta release we recommend using a PC with Windows XP, Windows 7 or Linux for the optimum iSpaces experience. iSpaces does work on Mac using the Safari browser. However, if you want to log out of iSpaces, you must quit Safari completely. When this bug is fixed, we will officially launch iSpaces on Mac.
I like firefox, can iSpaces run on firefox?
Yes, we recommend Firefox for the optimum experience.
Must I choose between my existing operating system and iSpaces; or can I switch back and forth depending on my preference?
You can absolutely switch back and forth between iSpaces and your locally running operating system. iSpaces can stay open in your browser window and you can minimize it or maximize it any time you want. This is a seamless and easy way to make the transition to iSpaces.
Can I access my document files on iSpaces?
watch videoiSpaces is committed to being your cloud computer, which includes giving you a way of working on your text, spreadsheet, presentation, and other documents. You can use our CloudBrowser to access all of your favorite online file storage sites, such as Google Docs, Dropbox, Box.net, and Zoho Docs. We have also integrated the Zoho Office Suite into our OfficeSpace, which allows you to create and edit documents and then save them directly into iSpaces.
Can I access my photos, videos, and music on iSpaces?
iSpaces is your cloud computer with universal non-stop access to your web apps, so it is absolutely the best way to experience ALL of your online media. You can use our CloudBrowser to access all of your favorite media sites, including photos (e.g., Picasa, Flickr, Snapfish, Shutterfly, etc.), videos (e.g., YouTube, Hulu, Metacafe, Dailymotion, etc.), and music (e.g., Pandora, Slacker, Jango, Live365, Last.fm, etc.). Even better, you can use our Spaces to better organize your media while you're enjoying it.
