How do I make a call?
It’s so easy! Create a list of contacts, pop on your headphones and just click the Call button next to someone’s name. Your call will open in a new tab in SpacePhone.
What do I do if I hear an echo?
Make sure you and all the people you are calling use headphones to ensure crystal clear quality on SpacePhone.
How do I chat or instant message (IM) a contact?
Simply double click a name from the contact list in SpacePhone. You can IM your contacts individually, or create group chat sessions.
How many people can be on a call?
The limit in SpacePhone is currently 20 participants.
Can I make a group call?
Yes! You can create and call groups directly from either ContactSpace or SpacePhone. You can also add individual contacts to existing calls one at a time.

How do I add a contact?
Just click the Add Contact button with the plus sign. From there you have four options to add a contact:
- Search for contacts within iSpaces
- Invite a new contact to iSpaces
- Import contacts into iSpaces
- Create a contact manually
Can I import my contacts from my address book or social media profiles?
You can import your contacts from Google and Facebook. Simply click the Add Contact button and select the Import option. You will be prompted to authenticate your Google or Facebook account and then your contacts will populate ContactSpace. We automatically connect you with your contacts who are already in iSpaces and make it easy for you to invite those who are not.
How do I organize my contacts?
You can sort the main contact list by Name, Status, Email, Location and Creation Date. You can also place your contacts into Groups.
How do I create Groups and make group calls?
You can place any number of contacts into a Group by selecting their name from the main contact list and choosing Add to Group from the main action button or directly from their profile. Once a group has been created you can call or IM an entire group from ContactSpace or SpacePhone.
How do I manage an individual contact?
Simply click their name from ContactSpace and their profile will open in a new tab.
How do I edit my contacts?
You don’t have to, we update them for you! When one of your contacts in iSpaces changes the information in their profile, we automatically update ContactSpace for you, making it easier for you to have your contact’s most updated information, directly from the source. However, you can manually edit certain fields that are managed only by you, not your contact.
What do the different “status” icons mean?
Green = Online
Red = Offline
Yellow = Idle (20 minutes or more)
Grey = Invited but not yet accepted
What does “Creation Date” mean?
This is the date that this contact was added to your ContactSpace.

How do I create multiple panels in FileSpace?
You simply click on the plus sign (+) in the upper right hand corner to add a panel.
What do the three icons stand for in the top bar of my panels?
The circular icon will refresh and update your file listing in that panel, the x will close that panel and the + allows you to add more panels.
Do I have to login to DropBox and Box every time I use FileSpace?
No. The first time you access Dropbox or Box, you will be asked to authenticate your account with that provider. The first time you do this, FileSpace will ask you to Authenticate the service and open a new tab where you enter your username and password. Once logged into the service, click Continue in FileSpace. After that, you will never have to login again, when using Dropbox or Box through FileSpace!
I don’t have an account with Dropbox or Box, do I need to create an account with them first before using them through FileSpace?
Yes. If you do not yet have an account with Dropbox or Box, you will be redirected to their site to create an account. However, you do not need a Dropbox or Box account to use FileSpace with your iSpaces desktop or storage.
How do I get my files from one storage area to another?
You can arrange your files however you like by copying or moving them from one storage area to another. You simply open a new storage area in a new panel and then drag and drop files from one area to the next.
How do I move a file vs. copying it from one panel to another?
Moving a file will move it to the new location and DELETE it from the current location, whereas copying a file copies it to the new position and KEEPS it in its current location.
How do I create a New Folder?
Simply click on “New Folder” in the bottom menu to create a new folder in the current listing.
Can I re-size and re-organize the panels?
Absolutely! You can re-size and re-organize the panels as you desire.
Can I move my files from the iSpaces Desktop into FileSpace?
Yes. You can drag and drop from the iSpaces Desktop into any of the FileSpace panels.
Can I use keyboard shortcuts?
Yes. Several shortcuts exist in FileSpace for both Windows and Mac. Please reference the list below.
How do I Delete a file?
To delete a file, select it and simply click delete.
